The medication contains coenzymes and vitamins, which makes it indispensable during bacterial and viral infections, reduced immunity and some other conditions. Below we describe why Korilip suppositories are prescribed, what contraindications exist for its use, and whether the drug can be replaced with an analogue.

Description

Rectal suppositories contain:

1 suppository
cocarboxylase hydrochloride25 mg
riboflavin2 mg
lipoic acid12 mg

To give a dense shape, the composition of the suppositories is supplemented with fat or cocoa bean oil. The medicine is stored in the refrigerator.

Suppositories are sold in cardboard packages of 10 pieces, the price is from 170 to 250 rubles. Children's Korilip Neo - 300-350 rubles.

Medicinal properties

Korilip is available in the form of rectal suppositories. Each suppository contains 0.025 g of cocarboxylase hydrochloride, 0.002 g of riboflavin and 0.012 g of lipoic acid. In addition to the main substances, candles contain auxiliary components (cocoa butter or solid fat 0.95 g). Korilip suppositories are torpedo-shaped and yellow in color.

We invite you to familiarize yourself with Levomekol ointment - instructions for use, what it helps with, what it is used for?

Korilip is produced in blister packs of 5 candles. The cardboard box contains 2 contour packages along with instructions.

The drug is available in the form of torpedo-shaped rectal suppositories, odorless, yellow in color. Possible inclusions of orange-yellow color.

Active ingredients:

  • 25/12.5 mg cocarboxylase hydrochloride;
  • 2/1 mg riboflavin;
  • 12/6 mg thioctic (α-lipoic) acid.

Auxiliary components: solid fat or cocoa butter (~ 930.5 mg).

Suppositories are placed in contour cell packaging made of polyvinyl chloride film, 5 pieces each, in cardboard packs, 2 packages each.

Price: No. 10: 210-270 rub.

Corilip is often prescribed in complex therapy and combines well with other drugs, including those with a similar effect (no negative interactions were noted).

1 suppository contains:

  • Cocaroxylase
  • Solid fat
  • Riboflavin
  • Lipolic acid.

The drug has an immunostimulating and restorative effect.

Riboflavin is actively involved in the restoration of fat and carbohydrate metabolism. It also supports the patient's visual function.

Korilip Neo improves the condition of mucous membranes and tissues in various diseases.

The drug begins to act twenty minutes after administration.

It is excreted through feces and kidneys within four hours.

pharmachologic effect

The instructions say that Korilip is a means of regulating metabolism.

Cocarboxylase or confirmate - restores metabolism, helps synthesize nucleic acids, activates the release of lipids and proteins. Corrects chronic intoxication and insufficient functionality of the cardiovascular system.

Vitamin B2 coenzyme or riboflavin - synthesizes hemoglobin, regulates the oxidative reaction within the body, improves the condition of mucous membranes, skin and helps restore vision.

Lipoic acid or thioctic acid - helps the body restore energy potential, controls metabolic processes, neutralizes and protects the liver from toxins.

Pharmacokinetics

Children of primary, preschool and school age are most susceptible to disruptions in the functioning of the immune system, and in cases where a child suffers serious illnesses, it can be quite difficult to ensure effective recovery without the use of additional supporting components. The use of modern medications makes it possible to accelerate the restoration of normal growth and development processes and provides opportunities to improve tissue regeneration.

According to the instructions for use provided by the manufacturer for use during drug therapy, Korilip helps to accelerate the healing process. It is acceptable to use it as part of vitamin prophylaxis. The composition contains a coenzyme that affects the course of metabolic processes.

Its use, in combination with vitamins and minerals, allows for accelerated tissue restoration, eliminates oxygen starvation of cells, and helps restore the body after intoxication. Lipoic acid, which is part of Korilip, is one of the regulators of carbohydrate metabolism, creating conditions for the formation of energy reserves in the human body.

The restorative effect of the drug is due to the presence of vitamin B2 in its composition. This substance is a coenzyme, and allows for improved hemoglobin production and normalization of the functioning of the visual organs. Taking riboflavin in the recommended dosage has a beneficial effect on the condition of the skin and accelerates the healing of ulcers and dermatitis.

Indications for use

  • Instructions for use Korilip

The drug supports the body during periods of viral and infectious epidemics and stress on the nervous system. Strengthens the child's immunity for adaptation to kindergarten.

Normalization of metabolism and energy processes in the body contribute to rejuvenation. Prescribed by doctors for:

  • weakened immune system;
  • infectious diseases;
  • hypervitaminosis;
  • physical illnesses associated with the functioning of internal organs or external injuries;
  • exhaustion after a serious illness;
  • dysfunction (hypotrophy);
  • oxygen starvation.
  • overvoltage;
  • physical and mental stress;
  • intensive growth of the body;
  • as preventive protection during infectious epidemics.

How each component “works”

Each of the active substances of suppositories has its own task:

  1. Riboflavin. The substance is also known as vitamin B2. With its participation, the body exchanges fats, carbohydrates and proteins. In addition, it helps maintain normal mucous membranes, helps maintain skin elasticity, activates metabolism in the cornea and lens of the eye, and is responsible for the biosynthesis of hemoglobin.
  2. Cocarboxylase. This is an enzyme that stimulates tissue metabolism processes. Also, without it, proper metabolism of carbohydrates is impossible.
  3. Lipoic acid. Takes part in the processes of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, accelerates the process of eliminating toxins, increases the amount of energy in the body and increases its resistance to adverse factors.

Due to this effect, the instructions for use of Korilip suppositories contain several different indications.

Use during pregnancy

Rectal suppositories help avoid complications during pregnancy. Recommended at an early stage, in the first three months. Indicated for use during problematic pregnancy, toxicosis, and arrest of fetal development. Corylip is used as a preventative against weakened immunity and infectious viruses. Colds and fever during pregnancy provoke serious illness in the child. Most medications for expectant mothers are prohibited, so suppositories look like a “lifeline.”

Various studies are being conducted on the use of Corylip for pregnant women. During the experiments we discovered:

  • in women taking Corylip, chronic infections are 2.5 times less likely to worsen and anemia is diagnosed;
  • the birth of children with morphological and functional immaturity is reduced by 2 times.

In mothers who have undergone 6-8 courses of treatment, children in the first year of life are practically free of illness and develop in a timely manner. Before use, consultation with a doctor is required.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Since all components of Korilip cause the normalization of energy metabolism in cells and tissues (the so-called metabolic effect), the use of this drug during pregnancy allows one to minimize complications and pathological conditions in this situation. During pregnancy, Corilip can be used in the first trimester (when most drugs are contraindicated). This drug can be used in preparation for pregnancy. Metabolic therapy with Korilip during pregnancy is indicated for various pathologies (fetoplacental insufficiency, intrauterine growth retardation, etc.).

There is no data on the penetration of this drug into breast milk.

Korilip for children

Corylip neo baby candles

Children who have suffered serious illnesses or are malnourished need vitamins and nutrients. Corylip Neo affects the child's metabolism and immunity.

Prescribed for:

  • lack of weight or substances necessary for the body;
  • pathologies of internal organs;
  • hypoxia of the skin;
  • chronic intoxication.

Recommended for:

  • viral, infectious diseases;
  • stressful situations;
  • active growth of the body.

Korilip is compatible with other medications. For example, Elcar solution based on levocarnitine is prescribed along with Corilip. Treatment is prescribed by a doctor.

Parents, in reviews on websites, recommend the drug to each other as a strengthening and protective agent before entering kindergarten. After preparing the body for stressful situations, the child gets sick less often, eats better, and tolerates vaccinations well.

Korilip Neo

Corylip-Neo is intended for children, contains a reduced dosage of active substances and is recommended for babies up to one year old.

1 suppository
Riboflavin1 mg
Lipic acid6 mg
Cocarboxylase12.5 mg

The product eliminates the need to split the candle in half for babies.

Reviews about Korilip

Many mothers like the pharmacological form of this drug. Here's what reviews about Korilip say about it:

“I like the fact that these are candles—you light them once a day and you feel like you’ve fulfilled your duty.” It's much easier and faster than crushing tablets or dropping drops into a spoon.

But some children manage to “pop out” the candle, even if they have just had a bowel movement. Here, for example, is the story of one mother:

— The first course of Korilip passed with a bang. And the second time (after a break) it started - we poop, then we put the candle on and... we poop again. More precisely, she pushes out the candle. I can’t imagine what to do...

The indications for which children are prescribed Korilip courses are very different: to improve health before going to kindergarten, to normalize nutrition (some pediatricians believe that the child will become more active and eat better), to speed up the healing of the oval window in the heart, and so on. In addition, these suppositories are sometimes prescribed to pregnant women, for example, with the wording “to compensate for spring vitamin deficiency.”

Now about the effectiveness of Korilip. Almost none of the mothers who used this medicine for their children noticed any significant beneficial effect on the condition of their baby. Moreover, parents often write that the child does not even get sick even a little less often. In one case, a mother said that her son became allergic to these suppositories after the second use.

Obviously, you shouldn’t expect a “miracle” from Korilip. Moreover, there is no need to so directly and unsophistically connect tissue nutrition and the nutrition of the child himself. In the case of Korilip, we are talking about stimulating metabolism in tissues, improving tissue respiration, and so on - but this does not mean that the baby will begin to eat more actively, more, that he will like those dishes that he previously rejected!

How to use

candles for baby

The drug is sold without a prescription, approved from birth, recommended for use after prescription by a doctor. Therapy is carried out according to the instructions - 10 days. Repeat the course after 21 days. Doctors recommend repeating the appointment 3 - 4 times. Long-term use is carried out under the control of cytochemical characteristics of the blood.

AgeNumber of suppositories per day

6 – 12 years1 — 2
teenagers and adults2 — 3

Rectal suppositories are inserted deep into the anus after cleansing or bowel movement.

Side effects of Korilip

As the instructions for use indicate, suppositories after treatment can cause the following side effects in the patient:

  • Hives
  • Itching
  • Burning in the anus
  • Discomfort.

If the above symptoms occur, the patient should immediately consult a doctor. In this case, it is recommended to replace the drug with an analogue.

In rare cases, allergic reactions develop (urticaria, itching), dyspepsia and bronchospasm are possible. If any side effects develop, treatment should be discontinued.

Effect on skin

The general strengthening drug improves the synthesis of proteins and lipids, activates metabolism, and improves tissue coverage. The active substances in Korilip strengthen and rejuvenate the body from the inside.

Lipoic acid is synthesized by the body independently, but with age, the ability of cells to produce Lipin decreases. It is necessary to replenish the deficiency from the outside. Scientists have proven the effectiveness of Alpha Lipoic Acid during high physical activity in bodybuilding, to slow down the aging process and lose weight. Thioctic acid improves metabolism, but losing weight requires following a daily routine, physical activity, and proper nutrition. Lipoic acid has a positive effect on beauty and youth, improves complexion, smoothes wrinkles, and eliminates acne.

Cocarboxylase is used in complex therapy. It has a positive effect on metabolic processes in the body, reduces lactic acid levels, and improves glucose absorption. Prescribed for diabetes, problems with the cardiovascular system, liver and kidney failure.

Riboflavin is necessary for the body - it regulates the health of skin, nails, and hair. Vitamin B2 is used for skin diseases, diabetes, anemia, and visual impairment. Flavin enzymes break down D - isomers formed as a result of the life process of foreign microorganisms, maintaining normal hemoglobin and glutathione.

A lack of riboflavin in the body occurs due to improper storage and preparation of foods containing vitamin B2. A person is not able to accumulate riboflavin, the excess is excreted in the urine. At older ages or during periods of high physical activity, the need for vitamin B2 increases.

As a result of using Korilip, the face looks fresh and rested, the skin is smoothed, swelling subsides, and wrinkles disappear.

Indications and contraindications for the use of Korilip

  1. Corylip can significantly strengthen the body not only of the expectant mother, but also of the fetus. Quite often, this drug is prescribed to women for better absorption of vitamins and microelements, which are so necessary for the unborn baby, and it is especially important that he receives them during the period of spring vitamin deficiency, when the body is especially tired of the cold and lack of sunlight.
  2. This remedy is prescribed if a pregnant woman is diagnosed with “recurrent miscarriage”.
  3. When carrying a child, Korilip is recommended to be used in cases of fetoplacental insufficiency, chronic diseases of somatic origin, intrauterine growth retardation, increased physical activity or frequent stress, or emotional instability of the expectant mother.
  4. Korilip brand suppositories are also prescribed in cases where a woman is prone to frequent colds or ARVI.

All components of this medication are of natural origin and are non-toxic. Korilip is absolutely safe and can be prescribed even for the treatment of small children. Cocarboxylase is, in fact, vitamin B1, which is produced by the human body to regulate and normalize carbohydrate and tissue metabolism, lipoid acid is also involved in carbohydrate metabolism, but in addition it regulates lipid processes, and Riboflavin or vitamin B2 is also a direct participant carbohydrate, fat, and in addition – protein metabolism. Thus, in the complex, Korilip helps to normalize all metabolic processes in the body, which are often disrupted during pregnancy.

Since Korilip is an absolutely harmless medicine, which is prescribed for treatment even during lactation and for small children under the age of 1 year, the use of Korilip should not cause any anxiety in expectant mothers. Moreover, Corilip sometimes turns out to be a real salvation in the first trimester of pregnancy, when, as you know, the use of the vast majority of medications is prohibited.

My child has a very difficult time with vaccinations. After they put the first Pentaxim on, a couple of days later they became very ill, and it all ended with herpes sore throat. Later, after Infanrix, the next day a very high temperature rose and loose stools appeared (Enterofuril helped us then). I don’t have the courage to completely refuse vaccinations, many authoritative doctors convince me that vaccinations should be given, but before each vaccination I’m not just stressed, I’m really shaking.

I received the next Pentaxim vaccination immediately after consulting an immunologist. The doctor knows how my child reacts to vaccinations and recommended that on the day of vaccination I buy and give the child Korilip-Neo suppositories, and prescribed a course: one suppository once a day for ten days. The doctor had a confident, calm voice, I believed that these suppositories would help us avoid a reaction to the vaccine similar to what we had. I don’t like it when immunostimulants are prescribed, I think that they have an effect on the child’s natural immunity (I noticed that there are doctors who hold the same point of view, but there are also those who hold the opposite point of view and really like to prescribe them). The doctor, apparently, noticed my facial expression and reassured me that these suppositories (in a nutshell) contain vitamins and will help improve tissue metabolism. As I understand it, it is not an immunostimulant.

I calmed down even more when, when purchasing this drug, I saw that it was intended for children under one year of age! This means there is minimal harm there.

This is what the packaging looks like.

Alas, finding these candles on sale was oh-so difficult! There are none anywhere. Somehow, I bought the last package at the Zhivika pharmacy on Bebelya Street (and they put it aside under my name at the request of the pharmacist at another pharmacy, where I didn’t find them). The packaging is inexpensive - only 135 rubles. There are ten candles in a package.

One suppository contains vitamins: cocarboxylase, riboflavin and the antioxidant lipoic acid (I’m not a doctor or a chemist, but it’s a little annoying that there are still restrictions on the use of this acid in children, but I think there’s not much of it in the preparation).

The drug must be stored in the refrigerator.

The medicine was produced in the Moscow region, the manufacturer is Altfarm LLC.

Shelf life - 2 years. Large and comfortable.

This is what the candles look like.

I'm pleased with the result. We arrived home in the afternoon, I immediately put the drug on the child, and by evening the temperature did not rise above 37.4. The child was very capricious, which was not typical for him. Apparently, it was still a reaction to the vaccine, but it was not as terrible as before.

The next morning the temperature was 36.9, I took the child to choreography (the doctor allowed it if there was no temperature). Everything was fine that day, but the next choreography lesson took place in our terribly cold hall. I struggled with my paranoia, looking at the other parents, and did not dress the child. Alas, a day later snot appeared (the temperature did not rise, there was no cough or other troubles), but today they have already disappeared. Apart from Aquamaris, I did not treat a runny nose with anything. I don’t think that without the drug Korilip-neo the child’s weakened body would have reacted this way. I am sure that the drug helped us.

Now a little about the cons:

A significant disadvantage is the method of application. It is clear that suppositories work better when the intestines are free. You have to wait for this moment (what if it doesn’t happen? Or you don’t wait, you put it in, and the child immediately goes to the toilet?). In addition, there is stress for the child; with a baby it is easier in this regard, but for a three-year-old, every procedure is accompanied by hysterics.

Unfortunately, allergic reactions are possible as a side effect. We managed without them, but they are noted in the instructions for the drug.

The drug has a wide spectrum of action, it is prescribed for:

— decreased immunity (as in our case);

— chronic tissue hypoxia;

- for viral and bacterial infections (including acute intestinal infections);

— for chronic somatic diseases;

- for chronic intoxication;

— in case of malnutrition (hypotrophy) in children.

I recommend Korilip-neo. I think if a doctor prescribes it, then you can safely take it.

Interaction with other drugs

Corilip does not have any negative effect on other medications, so it is often used together with other medications. For example, a child may be prescribed Korilip and Elkar together, a solution in the form of a solution based on levocarnitine.

The drug is characterized by good compatibility with other drugs; its use is acceptable as part of complex therapy for rehabilitation after illnesses. During the rehabilitation period, it may be prescribed in combination with other complexes of vitamins and minerals. To avoid an overdose of biologically active components, the volumes of lipoic acid and riboflavin consumed in suppositories should be taken into account.

At what age is it prescribed to children?

Latin name: Corylip

ATX code: A11EX

Active ingredient: Cocarboxylase, riboflavin

Manufacturer: Altfarm, Russia

Condition for dispensing from the pharmacy: By prescription

Korilip is a complex drug based on vitamins.

The active substance riboflavin regulates the overall recovery of the body and helps improve the condition of the mucous membranes and skin. Lipoic acid (the second active substance) improves carbohydrate metabolism, which is necessary for energy production in the body. In addition, this component has a pronounced hepatoprotective effect, due to which the patient’s liver function improves.

Korilip suppositories are a combination drug with pronounced metabolic and restorative effects due to the unique composition of coenzymes and vitamins.

The combination of active components leads to an improvement in metabolic processes in tissues under various physiological and pathological conditions.

Available in dosage form for adults, there are also suppositories for children (Korilip-Neo), which are prescribed from the neonatal period to 12 months.

Use of the drug

Corylip during pregnancy

I put 1 candle 10 days in a row before bed. After administration, a slight burning sensation is felt for some time.

Effect

During my first pregnancy, I was also prescribed drugs with cocarboxylase, but in the form of intramuscular injections. The injections were very painful. Then, from the 27th week, fetal development was delayed. It was more convenient for me that the treatment was prescribed in the form of tablets and suppositories, and I did not have to go to the residential complex every day.

At the same time, I was taking Actovegin, so the improvements in well-being that quickly came, I attribute to taking these pills. My tone, which had appeared periodically before, disappeared, and my blood circulation improved - my leg with protruding vessels stopped hurting.

Corylip strengthens the immune system and protects during infectious epidemics. This property turned out to be very useful, since during treatment my husband brought home ARVI (probably parainfluenza virus). A child has become infected. Both had a severe runny nose and cough for a long time.

The child quickly developed laryngotracheitis with severe cough at night. I usually get easily infected with viral infections, but that time I remained healthy and did not get even mildly ill. I was very happy about this, since even a runny nose and cough would have been a problem then.

As for the main problem, after two weeks the Doppler no longer revealed any abnormalities. Thus, the treatment turned out to be very effective in my case.

Follow your doctor's recommendations and stay healthy!

Korilip: instructions for use of suppositories, use during pregnancy and for children

The use of the drug Korilip implies its use exclusively in childhood. Cases of use in women during pregnancy have not been studied. Without a doctor's prescription, you should refrain from making possible decisions regarding their introduction into the rectal area. The lactation period requires abandoning the thoughtless use of medications. If a lack of vitamins and biologically active substances is detected in the baby’s body, prescriptions are made for the child.

corylip

Good evening, the doctor prescribed us CORILIP suppositories in order to better absorb milk and gain weight....we are 21 days old, has anyone taken it?

Answered: 22

Apparently, a harsh domestic development. Elkar, side view, txzt. There's something to believe in. Some doctors consider all these immunomodulators to be pure placebo. Some people think differently. You decide.
I’m finally very wary of medications, especially at such a tender age... I immediately decided for myself that I wouldn’t give them for now, I just want to hear reviews from “experienced” people
and the Elcar seems to be domestic too
I say: the same eggs, side view.
